  • Organic Cassava Flour

Cassava flour is completely grain free and ground from the whole cassava root, native to Nigeria, Thailand and South America. Cassava flour is completely safe for dogs, has a nutty flavour and is used in a number of pet food products, where a grain free option is required. Cassava flour is rich in carbohydrates and is a pretty good source of fibre too.  As cassava is not a native vegetable to the UK or Europe, it makes it a great hypoallergenic ingredient.

    Organic Raw Hempseed Flour

Naturally gluten free and with nutty flavour is a great source of Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils and fantastic source of protein and fibre. What’s good about using hemp for dogs? Well hemp is known for helping with strengthening the immune system, boosting skin and coat health thanks to being rich in Omega oils and has anti-inflammatory properties.

    Organic Date Paste

Dates come from date palm trees that grow across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Dates are rich in natural sugars and dietary fiber and contain moderate amounts of B vitamins, Vitamin A, magnesium, manganese, and potassium. The vitamins can boost your dog’s immune system, and the high fiber content of dates can help improve digestion.

Date paste is super sweet and high in moisture making the treats delicious and chewy, after the first crunchy barrier is chewed through by the pooch.

As dates contain quite a lot of sugars, non-choc buttons should be given in moderation to avoid doggies getting obese if they do not have a lot of exercise.

    Organic Chlorella Powder

Organic chlorella powder is a single celled green micro algae that naturally contains the phytonutrient chlorophyll. Chlorophyll captures the sun’s rays in plants and this super nutrient is captured as a bright green powder. Organic chlorella powder is a great way to get a nutritional boost.

It is an excellent nutritional supplement for dogs with a wide array of health benefits in animals.

Pets with allergies to iodine or mould should avoid chlorella.

    Nutritional Yeast

Nutritional Yeast is a deactivated form of bakers yeast. It’s often a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a single- celled fungus microorganism. It is usually found in the form of flakes, granules or powder.

Nutritional yeast offers many benefits to dogs. It is a complete protein packed with B vitamins such as vitamin B1 that aids with a dog’s metabolism and vitamin B9 for mental agility. Nutritional yeast is also high in fibre and contains antioxidants. It promotes a strong immune system in dogs.

    Organic Kale

Kale or ‘leaf cabbage’ belongs to a group of cabbage cultivars grown for their edible leaves. Kale plants have green or purple leaves and are considered closer to wild cabbage than many of the other varieties.

Kale is packed full of vitamin A,K and C which are important for boosting a dog’s immune system, their ability to heal, maintaining healthy eyes and making sure the blood clots properly.
